What you are buying

A perpetual, non-exclusive licence to use Kekoso on up to 3 Macs that you own or control. You are not buying the software itself, and you may not resell, rent, or redistribute it.

The licence does not expire. Updates within the 1.x line are included. A future major version may be a separate paid upgrade, offered at a discount to existing licence holders.

Trial

Kekoso runs unrestricted for 7 days before it asks for a licence. Every feature is available during that period — the trial exists so you can find out whether the app is useful, which does not work if pieces are missing.

Payment

Purchases are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd, acting as the merchant of record. Paddle handles the transaction, charges any sales tax or VAT due in your country, and issues the invoice. Your contract of sale for the payment is with Paddle; your licence to use the software is with us.

The price is $29 plus any tax applicable where you live. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

What we do not promise

Speech recognition is imperfect, in every product that offers it. Kekoso is provided as-is: we do not warrant that transcription will be accurate, that the app will suit a particular purpose, or that it will run without fault on every configuration of macOS.

Do not rely on it as the sole record of anything that matters.Check transcripts before acting on them, particularly in medical, legal, or financial work. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the licence.

What you agree not to do

• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or work around the licensing mechanism.
• Share your licence key publicly or use it beyond your own machines.
• Use the app to record people where doing so is illegal where you are.

Recording consent law differs by country and, in the United States, by state. Kekoso records only from your side and shows an indicator while it does, but complying with the law where you are is your responsibility, not ours.

Ending the licence

You can stop using Kekoso at any time; there is nothing to cancel, because there is no subscription and no account. We may terminate a licence that is being distributed or resold in breach of these terms, and will refund the unused portion where that is the fair outcome.

Changes and contact
